We accept all major credit cards including American Express, which are processed through a secure payment gateway with Sagepay. All personal details and credit card information is secure on our site. Your credit card details are not stored or saved on our database, so you will need to input your credit card details each and every time you place an order. Scooter Restorations Ltd are PCI DSS Compliant: All businesses accepting card payments need to meet the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Being PCI compliant reduces the risk of customer data getting into the wrong hands.
 
 
3D Secure - Verified by Visa
 
3D Secure is a new technical standard developed by Visa and MasterCard to further secure CNP (Cardholder Not Present) transactions over the Internet. MasterCard brand their system as 'MasterCard SecureCode' and Visa call theirs 'Verified by Visa'. It requires the cardholder to provide a personal password or pin number when paying for goods online with their credit card just as they would provide a pin on the high street. If you have not already signed up to Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode you will be prompted to do so during the checkout process. You only need to register once and during the process you will be communicating directly with your card issuer via a secure link. Cardholders are reassured that when they sign up their card is protected from fraudulent use on the internet

Send your cheque in pounds sterling for the total amount including postage and packing. Write your Order No. e.g. SRI-153, name and cheque guarantee card number on the back of the cheque

VAT on Goods Sold By Scooter Restorations
 
VAT stands for value added tax, which is charged on goods sold by Scooter Restorations within the European Union (EU). In accordance with the laws governing members of the European Union, Scooter Restorations is obliged to charge VAT on all orders delivered to destinations in member countries of the EU. In general, VAT is charged in accordance with the local legislation in each member state.
 
The "Our Price" amount displayed for goods sold by Scooter Restorations are inclusive of UK VAT 20%. You will be able to see your final price inclusive of applicable VAT before you confirm your order, when you have completed your order information (including your delivery address).
 
VAT for customers inside the EU
Scooter Restorations is required by law to collect VAT on orders for goods dispatched to all countries within the European Union. For customers with a delivery address within the EU, the total VAT charges for your order will be itemised on the invoice dispatched with your order.
 
Customers outside of the EU
 
Goods sold by Scooter Restorations that are dispatched to addresses outside of the European Union are generally not subject to EU VAT. Your final invoice will indicate your final costs minus VAT. When ordering goods from Scooter Restorations for delivery overseas, you may be subject to import duties and taxes which are levied once the package reaches your country.
