Scooter Restorations Terms and Conditions of Trade
All orders for goods made by you and accepted by scooterrestorations.com are subject to these Terms and Conditions of Trade.
 
1. Ordering
1.1 If the goods you have ordered are not available from stock, we will contact you by email and you will have the option to wait until the goods are available from stock or continue with your order and have the remaining items sent to you when it is back in stock.

 

1.2 When making an order through the website the technical steps you need to take to complete the order are described in the How to Order section.

 
2. Description of Goods & Prices
2.1 After we receive your order, we will confirm by email the details, description and price for the items you have chosen.
 
2.2 All details, descriptions and prices for the goods on the website are correct at the time when the information was inputted. You should check any received goods on arrival to ensure that they are not faulty.
 
2.3 Prices that are reduced for sales and promotions or are marked as specials* and are only valid for the specified period. These items are not discounted further using the SR Discount Scheme.
 
2.4 We reserve the right to adjust the price and specification of any item on the website at our discretion.
 
3. Rights to Withdraw Items
3.1 We reserve the right to withdraw any items from the website at any time
 
4. Payment and VAT
4.1 The total cost of your order is the price of the goods minus any discount, plus delivery charges. The total cost of your order will be confirmed to you by email. You will receive this email within 48 hours of making your order.
 
4.2 Payment can be made by most major credit or debit cards in accordance with the Payment Options and VAT section. Payment will be debited from your account upon dispatch of the goods to you. You will receive an email confirming payment and shipment.
 
4.3 You confirm that the credit/debit card that is being used is yours. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery and we are not obliged to inform you of the refusal.
 
4.4 The price for the goods as set on the website includes VAT for EU deliveries. Countries outside the EU are exempt of VAT. The VAT will be deducted from your final bill. We are not responsible for any other importation taxes, sales taxes or charges that may be levied at the delivery destination. Our VAT number is 646 6942 00.
 
5. Delivery
5.1 We dispatch items ordered by you as they are available using First Class Royal Mail and FedEx UK. The delivery charge is as set out in the Delivery section. The delivery charge for your order will be confirmed by email before your order is dispatched.
 
5.2 Orders will be sent to the delivery address, if different to your Invoice address that you have registered in 'YOUR ACCOUNT'. We cannot be held responsible if your delivery address is incorrect. If you wish to change the delivery address you may do so by entering the new details in 'YOUR ACCOUNT'. If you wish to change your delivery address and an order is 'IN PROGRESS' you must contact the Customer Services team.
 
5.3 We will try our best to ensure that the estimated delivery times set out in the Delivery section are met but we cannot accept any liability for late deliveries.
 
5.4 Once the goods have been received by you, all risk of damage to, or loss of, the goods shall pass to you. If you intend to cancel your order in accordance with the Cancellation & Returns Policy, you must keep good care of the goods pending their return to us.
 
6. Cancellation & Returns
6.1 Should you wish to cancel or return any of your goods, you may only do so in accordance with our Cancellation & Returns Policy.
 
7. Our responsibilities as a retailer
 

Under The Consumer Contracts Regulation 2015, when we sell something to a customer we have an agreement or contract with you.

A customer has legal rights if the goods they purchased do not conform to contract (are faulty). The Act says that to conform to contract goods should;

 
Match their Description
 
By law everything that is said about the product must not be misleading whether this is said by a sales assistant, or written on the packaging, in-store, on advertising materials or in a catalogue
 
Be of satisfactory quality
 

Quality of goods includes:
appearance and finish
freedom from minor defects (such as marks or holes)
safe to use
in good working order
durability

 
Be fit for purpose
 
If a customer says or when it should be obvious to the retailer that an item is wanted for a particular purpose, even if it is a purpose the item is not usually supplied for, and the retailer agrees the item is suitable, or does not say it is not fit for that purpose, then it has to be reasonably fit.
 
Changes to Terms and Conditions
We may change these Terms & Conditions of Trade at any time.
