I enquired about a 175cc conversion, and was advised against it due to possible further heat seizures as I had recently suffered one on my LI150 S3. Now, these guys could have taken a great deal of money off me, as I would have gone the whole hog and spent several hundreds, only for it to possibly break down sooner rather than later. THAT is service. I could have gone to another seller but because of this honesty I'm going to buy their GP200 engine instead! Some may think that this could be a dupe, but he doesn't know that this is now my choice as I had hung up after my first enquiry! Here I am, way across the other side of the globe, but time and again I turn to Scooter Restorations for my essential Lambretta goodies. Why you ask? I rely on these guys because I know they will ship promptly, have everything I need in stock no matter how esoteric, will charge a very reasonable price (in spite of the exchange rate!), will notify me if my order is ok, and will let me know when the package ships!! Unlike most other places, one is not left in the dark as to what and when you'll get, if you get, what you needed. I recently noticed that my 1996 version of the Lambretta Home Workshop Manual had an ad by SRL, which goes a long way in explaining why they are so damned good they've been doing it for quite a while now, and they have learned from their mistakes, something one cannnot say about many places it seems... I have to add that normally it costs more to order in England from mainland europe, but now with your new site layout and with your many discounts you have become a very attractive shop to use online. I made the same order at a big german shop to compare prices and your price including what i think the postage will be based on past experience is cheaper.
